About Our Firm
Attorney Donna Jones, founder and principal owner, is a licensed attorney in multiple states including California, Nevada, and Washington states with over 30 years experience in representing creditors, debtors, companies, and individual alike. In addition to being an experienced attorney, she is also an experienced real estate broker of two decades with emphasis in foreclosures.
Experience in representing both creditors and debtors provides our clients with a unique strategic advantage, not all attorneys have this versatility. We recommend Bankruptcy only when it’s the best solution and recommend other options when it is not the best solution.
Debtor Representation - Companies and Individuals, Alike
Attorney Jones has represented companies and individuals to restructure their finances in Chapter 7, 13, and 11 bankruptcies. Her experience ranges from representing a Subway Franchise restaurant, construction companies, tax companies, churches, funeral homes, and a host of other businesses and individuals.
Choosing an experienced bankruptcy attorney is perhaps one of the most important decisions you will make, often it makes the difference between successfully reviving your business, restructuring or orderly shutting down businesses, providing a fresh start for individuals and businesses alike.
Forget about begging the Big Banks to Modify your loans, Bankruptcy Courts have the power, in many instances, to force forgiveness of many under-secured loans or to otherwise modify or strip liens where certain requirements are met.
Big Banks have lawyers working hard on their side, and so should you!
Creditor Representation
For more than 30 years, our firm has successfully represented creditors in matters including, but not limited to: Litigation matters, Complaints to Determine Dischargeability of Debts; Motions for Relief from Automatic Stay, Motions to Annul the Automatic Stay; Motions for Adequate Protection Payments, Motions to Convert Cases; Proof of Claims; Motions to Allow Secured/Unsecured Claims; Objections to Plan Confirmation, etc.
Our experience in working on behalf of both creditors and debtors gives us a unique strategic advantage—allowing us to anticipate issues, protect creditors interests, and maximize recovery.
If your customer or client owes you or your business money, fails to pay, and subsequently files for bankruptcy to avoid paying, know that as a creditor you have legal rights that generally can only be adequately protected with effective legal representation. Collection efforts after the debtor has filed bankruptcy can result in Steep Sanctions! Hire our office today to obtain relief from the Automatic Stay (i.e. the automatic injunction against collections after the debtor files for bankruptcy).
There are essential deadlines that must be met to protect your rights as a creditor. If you do nothing, you may lose your legal rights, the collateral, and your interest in cash collateral, if any.
